Ferment the Orange Wine Centre is all about buying Orange’s best wines online. You can source all your favourite wines and we will ship them directly to your home or business – no need to buy whole straight cases or deal with multiple wineries.

As a valued customer of Ferment we want to update you on our process for deliveries of alcohol and articles which require proof of identification (ID) due to the increasing impact of coronavirus.
As you’re aware, Austpost and other freight companies have implemented additional measures with our delivery drivers, posties and Post Office staff for delivery or collection of parcels and all parcels will no longer require a signature for delivery and/or collection.
For articles containing alcohol, where the customer comes to the door, our people will do an assessment on whether the person looks under or over the age of 25.
From this, they will either:
1. Where the customer looks over 25, record customers details and delivery on the hand-held device and leave the parcel on the ground for the customer to collect after they have left.
2. Only sight an ID where the customer looks under 25 and if the ID requirement is met, record delivery and customer details on the hand-held device and leave the parcel on the ground for the customer to collect after they have left (in SA only, the date of birth will be requested and recorded based on verbal advice).
3. If the ID requirement is not met, for the eParcel wine service, a card will be left and the parcel taken to the Post Office for collection and for our OnDemand and StarTrack Courier services, standard redelivery procedures will apply
For all deliveries which require the last 4 digits of the ID, this will be requested and recorded based on the verbal advice given.
