Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed and co-fermented in older French oak barrels. The use of older barrels gives a restrained oak impact; more textural than in-your-face. Fresh, zesty fruit flavours from the cool growing season are enhanced by the subtle texture on the palate. Semillon (90%) gets a subtle snow-pea edge from Sauvignon Blanc (10%). Great fresh drinking. The wine has not been filtered or fined so it is cloudy.
